Petra SCHWEINHARDT

Petra Schweinhardt is the Head of the Department of Chiropractic Medicine at the Balgrist University Hospital and Professor of Chiropractic Medicine at the University of Zurich (UZH). She trained as an MD in Heidelberg, Germany, obtained a PhD at the University of Oxford, England and was
a tenured professor at McGill University in Canada before transitioning
to Switzerland. Here, she obtained her chiropractic degree at UZH and became Professor of Chiropractic Medicine in 2022.

Micheal VIANIN

Michael Vianin (MSc DC) - is a chiropractor with aMasters degree in Rehabilitation Sciences who has over twenty years of experience working with people who suffer from musculoskeletal pain. He specializes in the management of complex cases, including post-operative care. Michael also has extensive teaching experience in the rehabilitation of MSK disorders and in mentoring interns and residents.
Starting his career as a member of a multidisci plinary spinal pain team in Fribourg in Switzerland, Michael was also a Team Chiropractor with HC Fribourg-Gottron, a professional, Swiss ice hockey team, and engaged to lecture in Active Rehabilitation at Zurich Universitys Faculty of Medicine. Michael currently balances his roles as Team Chiropractor (HC Fribourg-Gottron), Staff Physician with Clinique Generale, Supervising Clinician with CHUV (University Hospital in Lausanne), and Chiropractic Physician at his own private practice in Fribourg. Michael has a keen interest in
the unique qualities of each of his patients. His drive to continue learning about the clinical usefulness of the impact of patient dispositions on
symptoms presentation and treatment outcomes has brought him to share his knowledge and experience with readers through Dispositionalism in Musculoskeletal Care. Combining his passion for his career with his love for his family and an active, outdoor lifestyle, Michael believes the important lessons in life can come in many ways. It is only when we have the courage to embrace each moment, keep an open mind to change, and maintain our enthusiasm to learn, that we will reap the benefits of constructive change.

Mathieu SAUBADE


Dr Mathieu Saubade, holds a degree in sports medicine and works presently at the unit of physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Centre Hospitalier universitaire Vaudois (CHUV).
His is author of many articles and presentations he hosted on local tv channels, such as
'La Chaise qui tue', ‘Skier sans douleurs’ et ‘Faites bouger vos Enfants’.
